Forward incoming calls to another number.
Call forwarding always will forward all calls at all times.
Consider enabling call forwarding always to your cell phone when you go out of town so that you don't miss any calls while you're away.
Call forwarding - busy will only forward calls when your telephone line is busy. This usually happens when you are on a call and are receiving another call, or when you are on two calls simultaneously.
Call forwarding - no answer will only forward calls if you don't answer your phone after the standard amount of rings. When enabled, callers effectively get forwarded rather than sent to voicemail.
Keep in mind that most phones ring for about 30 seconds. With call forwarding - no answer, your callers will hear ringing for approximately 30 seconds before getting forwarded and hearing more ringing for that number. So callers could hear ringing for 60 seconds or longer before reaching the voicemail of the number to which you are forwarding calls.
Call forward not reachable will only forward calls if your phone service is down. For example, if your fiber optic cable is cut in your yard, this feature will forward calls until your service has been restored. While we do everything we can to ensure that your phone service is always working, outages can and do happen from time to time. We recommend enabling call forward not reachable so that you avoid missing important calls.
